WHEN ARE YOU OPEN?
Weekends Memorial Day thru October (aka Fri & Sat nights and Sun on long weekends) plus Sun/Mon/Tue/Wed nights all June!
Every once in a while we can accommodate a midweek stay outside of June and/or add an extra night or two to your weekend reservation. Just drop us a line and ask!
HOW DO I RESERVE A ROOM?
Online here or over the phone at 518-989-6404. Every year mailing list members get exclusive first dibs on the calendar so sign up here! That link will hit your inbox in March.
CAN I COME TO THE BAR EVEN iF I’M NOT STAYING at the inn?
You bet! We’re open 5-8pm Fri & Sat, plus Sun on long weekends May thru October. You can enjoy your sips inside our little bar our outside in the garden. (And while our overnight accommodations aren’t pet friendly, you are welcome to bring your dog on leash to the outdoor portion of the bar.)
HOW DO I GET ON THE WAITLIST FOR A CERTAIN DATE?
Email us at info@sprucetoninn.com with the subject line WAITLIST and in the body of the email tell us:
The dates you wanna to stay. (Multiple dates are ok!)
The best phone number to reach you.
Before you email us though, try looking at our calendar with a different browser— some folks have success that way!
Please also keep in mind that we’re hosting private events and therefore NOT keeping a waitlist for regular overnight stays the following weekends:

WHAT’S YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
All changes and cancellations must be made over the phone at 518-989-6404. Change/cancellation requests sent via email WILL NOT BE HONORED.
Cancellations and changes made 30+ days of the reservation are refundable minus a $25 cancellation fee.
Cancellations and changes made 15-29 days before the reservation are refundable minus a $100 per room fee.
Cancelations and changes made within 14 days of the reservation are charged in full.
No-shows and early check-outs are charged in full.
DO YOU EVER HAVE ONE-NIGHT STAYS?
Midweek in June, yes! On a weekend? Very occasionally! Sometimes someone’s plans will change last second and we’ll have a single night open up which we’ll announce on our Instagram.
WHAT’S THE DEAL WITH CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT?
Come by Room One any time after 12 noon to pick up your key. (3pm on Sundays.) If it’s before or after our bar hours (5-8pm) your key will be hanging outside the door with your name and room number on ‘em. So really, you can arrive as late as you’d like, no prob. Check out is 12 noon (10am on Fridays).
CAN I BRING MY KID(s)?
Short answer: YES!
Longer answer: Spruceton Inn is best suited to adults, being a Bed & Bar and all with only one queen size bed per room. But if they can be chill and you’re down to share a room with your little one(s) then we’re happy to have ‘em! We have a few cots available first-come, first-served for $50 per night (max 1 per room), and you’re very welcome to bring pack-n-plays for your itty bitty ones too. Just drop us a line when you reserve so we have a proper headcount for your room.
And while we don’t have adjoining rooms, if you book two we can absolutely make sure they’re right next to each other!
Did I mention almost any baby monitor can reach from any room to the bar…?
WHAT ABOUT MY PET?
Your pet is probably super cool, but unfortunately not everybody’s pets play well together, so we have a NO PET policy. We do accept service animals, see the ADA guidelines for details.
DO YOU do GROUPS or workshops?
Totally! You can book up to 4 rooms per reservation online. If you have a bigger group in mind than that, hit us up via email or phone at 518-989-6404 and we can chat.

DO YOU HOST WEDDINGS?
Heck yeah! We’ve over fifty and counting. We are currently booking for 2027. You can check out how we party here. And this should go without saying but we’ll say it anyway: EVERYONE is welcome to get married here!
HOW CAN I GET TO YOU? CAN I TAKE PUBLIC TRANSPORT?
We recommend having a car for your stay since the only things within walking distance of us are the trailheads and West Kill Brewing. There’s no Lyft or Uber since there’s no cell service out here, and taxis are pricey and have to be booked way in advance.
Btw, if you’re renting a car and coming from NYC, we recommend hopping Metro North to Poughkeepsie. It’s cheaper and you don’t have to deal with city traffic!
Still determined to get here via public transport? Your best bet is to take an Adirondack Trailways bus to Phoenicia or Kingston (about $40 from NYC) then arrange for a local taxi like Dawn2Dusk to pick you up. Just know that because this is such a rural area, companies will often charge upwards of $80 a ride, even if it's just 15 minutes.
